What if?
So I gave Nickelback's If Today Was Your Last Day a full listen (two, actually) and I must say, it's a great song that sends a message with which I wholeheartedly concur.What I feel right now is that most of us are surviving. But survival is overrated. As long as we are alive, I think we should live.
Ideally, I'd drop all the things that cause me stress, look up into the sky take a deep breath and run through the meadows of life into the horizon. I'd stop to take in the beauty of this world. I'd savor each moment.
In other words, I'd live.
But we all know that's just the ideal case.
Right now I'll just enjoy the time spent with friends, do what I love and live as much as I can.
Life is too short for anger, hate and regret. We know they're inevitable, but it's in our control to let go of grudges, forgive and move on.
And that's what I'm gonna do.
